SFは人類に不可欠。映画「デューン2」も最高！
昨日、映画「関心領域」を見たのだけれど、その後すぐ「デューン2」を見た。
パート1も素晴らしく、アップルTVで購入して、よく見返しているけど、最近見たSF映画の中で一番好きだ「デューン」シリーズ。このシリーズの世界観が本当に自分の心に和む。
SF映画を見ると、非現実的な世界に浸り、日常を忘れてリラックスできる。SF映画は、人類の未来を推し進めているのは間違いないと思う。そしてSFという分野は絶対に必要な分野だと思う。
「デューン」は未来の砂漠惑星アラキスを舞台に、貴族の家系が覇権を争う壮大な物語。アラキスは「スパイス」と呼ばれる貴重な資源が採れるため、多くの勢力がその支配を巡って争っている。主人公ポール・アトレイデス（ティモシー・シャラメがめちゃめちゃハマり役で男の自分から見ても惚れてしまうほどカッコイイ）は、家族と共にアラキスに移り住み、数々の試練を乗り越えて成長していく。
「デューン2」では、そんなポールの物語がさらに展開。映像美と緻密な世界観が魅力的で、音楽と俳優陣も素晴らしい。特に、音楽は映画の雰囲気を一層引き立て、俳優たちの演技も物語に深みを与えている。
じつは、我が家の隣の池袋には、日本最高のIMAXシアターがある。こんな素晴らしい映画を日本最高のIMAXシアターで見れるとは本当に最高だ。
２をみたからいだけれどパート3がすぐにでも見たい！SF映画は未来へ自分をタイムスリップさせてくれる。非日常の世界に一瞬で連れて行ってくれるので、本当にリラックスできる。デューンを通じて、日常の喧騒から離れ、心をリフレッシュをする時間が持てた。SF映画好きなら必見の作品。

Science fiction is necessary for mankind. The film Dune 2 is also great!
Yesterday I watched “Region of Interest” and shortly after that I watched “Dune 2”.
The first one was great and I bought it on Apple TV and watched it a lot, but the Dune series is my favourite sci-fi film I’ve seen recently. The world of that series really calms me down.
When I watch a sci-fi film, I can immerse myself in an unrealistic world and relax and forget about everyday life; I think sci-fi films definitely push the future of humanity forward. And I think the field of science fiction is absolutely necessary.
Dune is an epic tale of aristocratic families vying for supremacy on the desert planet Arrakis in the future. Arrakis is a place where a valuable resource called ‘spice’ can be extracted, and many powers are fighting for control of it. The protagonist, Paul Atreides (played by Timothée Chalamet, who is so cool that even as a man I fall in love with him), moves to Arrakis with his family and overcomes many trials and tribulations to grow up.
In Dune 2, Paul’s story continues to unfold. The film’s visual beauty and detailed world are appealing, and the music and acting are excellent. The music in particular adds to the atmosphere of the film, and the performances of the actors add depth to the story.
In fact, the best IMAX theatre in Japan is in Ikebukuro, next to my house. It’s really great to be able to see such a great film in the best IMAX theatre in Japan.
I’ve already seen Part 2, but I’m dying to see Part 3! Sci-fi films take me back in time to the future, they instantly transport me to an extraordinary world, and it’s really relaxing. If you like sci-fi films, this is a must see.
