新しいことをやろうとしている人達は、皆やり方が違う

中学2年の娘が「やりたいことの見つけ方」そういった本に興味を示していた。そういった本に興味を示す年になったんだととっても微笑ましく思った。娘が読んでも、何かしら感じそうな本を一冊買っておいた。

ただ、新しいことをやろうとしている人達は、必ずといっていいほど、皆やり方が違う。こうしなきゃダメという画一した魔法のようなものはやはりないので、自分なりに発見してほしい。

My daughter, who is in the second year of secondary school, showed interest in a book called ‘How to find what you want to do’. It made me smile to think that she is now old enough to be interested in such books.

However, people who are trying to do something new always do it in a different way. There is no one-size-fits-all magic that says you have to do it this way, so I want you to discover it in your own way.
