Airbnb、建物内部の監視カメラ、隠しカメラは当たり前？

先日、Airbnbで建物内部の防犯カメラの使用を禁止したという記事を読んだ。今までAirbnbなどはよく利用しているけれど、建物、廊下やリビングに監視カメラが許されているとは知らなかった。

調べてみると、Airbnbの監視カメラを発見するためにwifiを使ったアプリがあることも。ただ、正直そのアプリでもwifi接続でない隠しカメラはわからないということ。

今まではホテルの部屋に監視カメラがあることなんてありえないという発想だったけれど、そういう時代でもなくなったのか。

Airbnb, security cameras inside buildings, hidden cameras the norm?
I recently read an article about Airbnb banning the use of security cameras inside buildings. I am a frequent user of Airbnb and other services, but I did not know that surveillance cameras were allowed in buildings, hallways and living rooms.

When I looked into it, I also found that there is an app that uses wifi to detect Airbnb’s security cameras. But to be honest, even this app means that hidden cameras that are not connected to wifi cannot be detected.

I used to think it was impossible to have a surveillance camera in a hotel room, but I guess those days are over.
