People prefer constancy to change, and the known to the unknown.
I recently gave a talk at my daughter’s junior high school on how to live and be. Yesterday I received written impressions from the students at the junior high school. Some of the children wrote quite a lot of notes and impressions.
Unfortunately, self-help books and advice from others rarely change lives. But I would be happy if it gave them something to think about for the rest of their lives.
This time I also was able to spend some important time thinking about ‘how to live’ again. As the students move forward into the future, I will move forward into an unknown future.
