Returned from Italy today. Travelling to extraordinary places is a really great learning experience. Travelling is the best way to learn.
When you come into contact with a new culture and customs, no matter how trivial, that you are not exposed to on a daily basis, it naturally creates opportunities for reflection and learning. Things that are not easily thought of on a routine basis are triggered.
But the fallout continues after the trip is over. This comes out in many ways. Mentally and in relation to everyday life. So-called gap fatigue. Nevertheless, there is no more efficient way to learn than to travel. That is absolutely certain.
