何になるかわからないけれど、幸せになる自信はある
「何になるかわからないけれど、幸せになる自信はある」こんなことを子供が言ってくれたら最高だ。自分はいつからか、親に刷り込まれたのか、自分で無理に自分自身に刷り込んだのか定かではないけれど、そう思えるようになっていた。
ちなみに、小、中学、高、大学までは、こんなこと微塵も思えたことはなかった。あっそう、これを思えるようになったのは、世界中を旅をしだしてからかもしれない。
「何になるかわからないけれど、幸せになる自信はある」子供がこう思えるようになったら、本当に最高だ。

I don’t know what I’m going to be, but I’m sure I’ll be happy.
I don’t know what I’m going to be, but I’m sure I’m going to be happy. I am not sure when I started thinking this way, or whether it was instilled in me by my parents, or whether I forced it on myself, but I have come to believe it.
Incidentally, I never felt this way until I went to primary school, junior high school, high school and university. I think it was only when I started travelling around the world that I started to think that way.
I don’t know what I’ll be, but I’m sure I’ll be happy.
