「安楽死」
本日96歳の祖母のお見舞いに行った。その際に母と、死ぬ瞬間を自分で選べたほうがよいかと死についての話題になった。
安楽死。自分が病気で苦しんでいる姿や弱まっている姿を周囲に見せたくない、他の人に依存したくないという人が、安楽死を望む傾向みある。今、安楽死を望む人は、White（白人）、Wealthy（裕福）、Worried（心配性）、Well-educated（高学歴）という4Wだという。
死。誰しもに必ず訪れる。死生観。自分はいったいどうだろう？

Today I went to visit my 96-year-old grandmother. While I was there, I got into a conversation with my mother about death and asked her if she would prefer to be able to choose her own time of death.
Euthanasia. There is a tendency for people who do not want others to see them suffering from illness or weakness, and who do not want to be dependent on others, to want euthanasia. The 4Ws who now want euthanasia are white, wealthy, worried and well educated.
Death. It will come for everyone. Life and death. What on earth do you think of yourself?
