高校時代からメガネにハマり、メガネ屋を初め、メガネとの付き合いはなんだかんだ30年。

様々なメガネに出会う機会がある。そんな中でも自分より歳を重ねたメガネ。そんなメガネをかけていると、不思議な気分になる。自分が生まれる前からあったメガネ。そんなメガネをかけていると誰かに守られているように感じる。森で何百年も前からある大樹に出会うと神聖な気分になるけれど、メガネでも、そういった気分になれるのは自分だけか？

Glasses that are older than me.
I have been interested in eyewear since high school, started working in an optician’s shop and have been involved with eyewear for about 30 years.

I have had the opportunity to meet a wide variety of glasses. Some of them are older than I am. Wearing such glasses makes me feel strange. Spectacles that have been around since before I was born. When I wear such glasses, I feel as if someone is protecting me. When you meet a big tree in the forest that has been there for hundreds of years, I feel sacred, but is it only me can feel that way with glasses?
