欲望が大きい人間にとって、人生は短い
「欲望が大きい人間にとって、人生は短い」何かの話の中で、そんなことを聞いた。
欲望が大きくない人間にとっては人生は長いのか。欲望が少ない時は少ないで、気づいたら、あっという間に人生が過ぎていく。
自分はかなり夢みがちだ。遠く未来のことに思いを馳せて、その自分の描く未来と今の自分の現実との差に勝手に一人イラつく。結局は1日1日、足元をフルで充足させるのが一番だというけれど、難しい。
欲望が大きくても、大きくなくても結局人生は短い。

Life is short for people with great desires,” I heard in one of my lectures.
Is life long for people who have no great desires? If you have little desire, and then you realise that life passes in the blink of an eye.
I am quite dreamy. I think about the distant future and get annoyed by the difference between the future I imagine and my present reality. After all, it is said that it is best to satisfy one’s feet one day at a time, but it is difficult.
Life is short, whether your wishes are big or not.
