「進歩は破局と不可分である」(批評理論入門ー『フランケンシュタイン』解剖講義」)
まさにSF的言葉であるけれど、これはまず間違いないことなのだろう。さらにはこのようなことは、社会だけにではなく、個人にもきっと言える。

This is a very science fictional phrase, but it is probably true. And it is true not only for societies, but also for individuals.
