I was in a rural town the other day and 100% of the people in the supermarket were still wearing masks. When you go to the countryside, for example, there is so muchunspoken sharing that it is hard to live with.
In a diverse society, that is not the case. The line between what is annoying and what is not is completely different from country to country and ethnic group to ethnic group, and you never know who is thinking what. People are people. It is natural that they have different values.
If anything, I’d rather live in a society where I don’t know what anyone else thinks, and even if there is friction, I try to talk to them directly. I think that kind of society is better for me.
