Every extraordinary day is ultimately an ordinary day.
Today I saw another documentary film today. ‘Swimmers: entrusted with hope’.
From war-torn Syria to the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. The story of two sisters who crossed the ocean at great risk.Based on a true story, this is another thought-provoking story.
What struck me most was the scene where they are dancing in a club, as if they were watching lightning in the distance, while all the way from Ikebukuro to Shinjuku is being bombed. Also, machine-gun soldiers all over the city, swimming even though the whole place is crumbling.
Any extraordinary situation will eventually have to be lived as everyday life. There are still many such areas in the world. This everyday life of mine now, where tomorrow comes as a matter of course, is not a matter of course.
