お客様に支えられ、新宿と銀座でメガネを営ませせてもらって15年。

うちのもっともの特徴はお客様からメガネのお買取をさせていただくところ。以前は、中古やUSEDと呼ばれていたけれど、15年で今や時代が変わり、プレオウンド商品と言われるようになった。

プレオウンド、pre-owned つまり過去に所有履歴がある商品のこと。

15年、ヴィンテージや、中古はちょっとという方が、現在はより少なくなった気がする。

pre-ownedは昔でいうところの中古と同意義だけれど、ヴィンテージなどもそうだけれど、呼び名が変わるだけで、現在は、希少価値の高いタイムレスな商品と説明されて、まったく雰囲気も変わって見えるから不思議だ。

We have been running spectacle shops in Shinjuku and Ginza with the support of our customers for 15 years.

One of the most unique features of our company is that we buy glasses from our customers. In the past, they were called USED, but in the past 15 years, times have changed and they are now called pre-owned products.

Pre-owned, in other words, goods that have been owned in the past.

I think there are fewer people today who are not interested in 15 year old, vintage or used products.

Pre-owned is the same as USED, but it is strange that the atmosphere of a product seems to change just by changing its name.
