観葉植物周りのコバエ。キノコバエがすごい。

家で観葉植物を育てているのだけれど、コバエがすごい。

どうも観葉植物に湧くのは、コバエの中でもキノコバエという種類らしいけれど、隣に捕獲テープを貼っていたら1日に200匹ぐらい張り付いてる。それが毎日。

１週間で1000匹以上、1ヶ月だと5000匹近く発生していることになる。むしろ、この生命力に感嘆。

Houseflies around houseplants.
I grow houseplants at home and there are so many fruit flies.

Apparently there is a type of housefly called the mushroom fly that grows on houseplants, I put a piece of sticky tape next to it, about 200 of them will stick to it in a day. That’s every day.

In a week there are more than 1,000 of them, and in a month almost 5,000. I am quite amazed at their vitality.
