レーザーのような集中力

と言ったのはブルースリー。

大変ありがたいことに、11月のハワイで参加予定のトライアスロンの大会ウルトラマン、スイム10km・バイク280kmほど・ラン84kmほどの合計約512km。この大会は、必ず3日間サポーターの方が必要。そのサポーターの方の募集を運営側にお願いしていたところ、今回この大会の、さらに自分のサポートのためだけにカナダからお二人が来ていただけることになった。

3日間フルでサポートいただけるのに、カナダからの飛行機も自腹で。もう本当に感謝という言葉では済ませられない。せっかくこのためだけにカナダからハワイに来ていただけるので、大会当日は、実力がとか、体調がとか、環境がとかすべてまったく関係なく、ブルースリーいわく、3日間はレーザーのような集中力で必ず完走し、わざわざカナダからサポートに来ていただけるご厚意をしっかり形に変えたい。

Laser-like focus

I’m very grateful to be able to participate in the Ultraman Triathlon in Hawaii in November, which is a 10km swim, 280km bike and 84km run, for a total of about 512km.

I had asked the organisers to recruit supporters for this event and they agreed that two people from Canada would come to this event and support me.

They will support me for the full three days, but will also pay for their own flights from Canada. I can’t express my gratitude enough.

Since they came all the way from Canada to Hawaii just for this event, on the day of the race, regardless of my ability, physical condition or environment, I will definitely complete the race with laser-like concentration for the three days.As Bruce Lee says.

And I will make the kindness of them coming all the way from Canada to support me.
