頑張ることに逃げている

「この部屋から東京タワーは永遠に見えない」を読んでいる。

さすが、とても面白い。とにかく全部面白いのだけれど、短編の１つの中で「頑張ることに逃げている」という一文があって、妙に納得した。

彼はどうも頑張ることに逃げている。子供がお母さんに怒られているとき手遊びにするように努力に逃げている

：：：

本文の中にあるこの一文、いままで自分の中にそんな観点はなかったのだけれど「努力に逃げている」とはなるほど！と思った。

そうか、「努力に逃げている。頑張ることに逃げいてる」そんな時、それって確かにあるかもしれない。

I’m reading ‘From This Room You Can’t See the Tokyo Tower Forever’.

very interesting.

In one of the short stories there is a sentence “I run away from doing my best”, which strangely made sense to me.

He seems to be running away from doing his best. He runs away from trying, like a child playing with his hands when his mother is angry with him.

This sentence I had never thought of from this perspective before, but I see what you mean by “running away from trying hard”! I thought.

I also sometimes run away from effort. I’m running away from trying.
