超軽量での旅。軽量かつ最小限の装備。ウルトラライト・パッキング。

ウルトラライト・パッキングの世界では、荷物の重さが「ライト」は15ポンド（6.8kg）以下。「ウルトラライト」（UL）は10ポンド（4.5kg）以下。さらに「サブ・ウルトラライト」は3kg以下だという。

ちょっとだけ、今からシンガポール。今回、わずか3日だけれど、重量をはかったら、Macなどいれたら8kg以上あった。

ちなみに普通のバックパッカーがだいたい14kgぐらいだとう。そういえば、自分がエベレスト登った際の登山の装備を思い出したら、冬季登山の装備だったので、軽く25kgぐらいはあった。

超軽量での世界の旅。超軽量での世界一周。やっぱりそれがなんだかとってもクール。けれど、Macやましてや一眼など持っていこうものならすぐに10kgぐらいいってしまう。ウルトラライト・バックパッキングの道は遠い。

Ultralight travel. Ultralight backpacking

In the world of ultralight packing, a ‘light’ pack weighs less than 15 lb (6.8 kg). Ultralight’ (UL) weighs less than 10 lb (4.5 kg). And ‘sub ultralight’ is 3kg or less.

I ‘m now at Narita Airport for my stay in Singapore . I’ve only been here three days, but when I weighed it, it was more than 8kg, including my Mac.

I heard that a normal backpacker weighs about 14kg. Come to think of it, when I remember my mountaineering gear when I climbed Mount Everest, it was winter climbing gear, so it weighed 25kg.

Travelling around the world with an ultralight backpack. Travelling around the world with an ultralight backpack. It was kind of cool. But if I took a Mac, or even a SLR camera, it would soon weigh in at around 10kg. Around the world with an ultralight pack is not so easy.
