人付き合いがうまいというのは、人を許せるということだ

映画「聲の形（こえのかたち）」を見た。この漫画を読め！というものでおすすめされていたけれど、原作は読んだことなく、映画から先に見てみた。

納得。小学校の娘たちにわかるかわからないけれど、子供たちに見せたい。

原作７巻を2時間にまとめているので、かなり端折られてしまっているところも多いようなので、原作もさっそく一気に読んでみようと思う。

ピューリッツァー賞を４度受賞した詩人のロバート・フロスト氏は言っている

「人付き合いがうまいというのは、人を許せるということだ」

まさにその通りなのだろう。

日常生活ですら難しいけれど、対象をより大きくとるならば、ある出来事で息子が死んだ、娘が死んだ。極論どのラインまで、どこまで許すことができるのか。

世の中で戦争が絶えないことを見ても、人が人を許すということには、きっと相当な人間力が必要なのだろう。

I don’t know if my primary school daughters will understand it, but I want to show it to them.

To get along with people is to be able to forgive them.

In the context of everyday life, this is probably true.

Even in everyday life it is difficult, but if we take the subject of forgiving people on a larger scale, a son died in an event, a daughter died. To what extreme and to what extent can we forgive?

When you see that there are still wars in the world, it must take a lot of human strength for people to forgive others.
