恐れなければならないのはライバル企業ではなく、お客様です。

仕事をしていると、間違いなくライバル企業のようなものが出てくる。うちはメガネ屋という面では、かず多くのライバルがいるし、メガネを買い取るという部分では、メルカリのようなアプリだったり、また別のライバルが次から次へと出てくる。

そんなことに一喜一憂していてもはじまらない。今日の文面、どこで読んだか忘れたけれど、どこかのラグジュアリーブランドの言葉だったと思う。恐れるというのは強すぎる表現かもしれないけれど、これはまさにそういったことなのだろう。

見るべき方向は、ライバル企業やアプリなどではなく、お客様。とにかくお客様。

今年も本当にすばらしいお客様に支えられ、素晴らしい1年になった。うちも15年目。常にお客様から学ばせていただき、よりよいお店を目指していこう。

I constantly remind our employees to be afraid. Not of our competition, but of our customers.

In the course of our work, we definitely see things like rival companies. In terms of our company being an optician, we have a lot of competition, and in terms of buying glasses, there are apps like Mercari, and there are other competition one after the other.

It’s not enough to be happy or sad about such things. I don’t remember where I read that sentence today, but I think it was from some luxury brand. Fear may be too strong an expression, but I think this is exactly what it means.

The direction we should be looking at is not at our competitors or apps, but at our customers.

This year has been another great year, supported by really great customers. This is our 15th year. Let’s always learn from our customers and aim to be a better shop.
