「マネジメントの本質は、富でも地位でもなく、責任である」（渋沢栄一）

渋沢栄一さんの言葉だ。

マネジメントというほどの大きな組織に所属したことはないけれど、今のメガネ屋、数人の仕事仲間、家族という小さな単位でも、本質は同じ。

結局は、マネジメントをする側が、いかに腹がくくれていて、責任を取る姿勢があるかということにつきるのかもしれない。

自分がもし部下だったとしたら、どんなことになっても、どんな状況でも必ず自分が責任をとる。そんな言い訳のない胆力のあるリーダーには、心からついていきたいと思う。

現状、今の自分はまるでそんな状況にはなれていないけれど、人生、仕事、家庭、友達関係全てにおいて、富、地位を超越するような肝の座った生き方をして、しっかり責任をとって生きていきたい。

These are the words of Eiichi Shibusawa.

I have never belonged to an organisation so big as management, but the essence is the same in a small unit, whether it is a current glasses shop, a few workmates or a family.

In the end, it may come down to how willing he or she is to take responsibility.

If I were a subordinate, I would sincerely want to follow a leader who has the courage to take responsibility without making excuses.

At the moment, I am not in such a situation, but I would like to live my life with a way of life that transcends wealth and status in all aspects of life, work, family and friendship, and take responsibility for my all actions.
