来週からのパリでAirbnbの予約をとろうとしたところ、なかなか承認されない。２件連続NGだ。

思い返すと、2年ほど前、Airbnbで箱根に旅行に行ったあたりから、予約が取れなくなった。部屋を汚すこともしてないし、チェックインも守っている。もちろん、直前にキャンセルなどもしてない。こまめに連絡をとっている。でも、これ、もしかすると、以前利用した際に、何かどこか、まずい利用があったのかな？

そもそも、今のAirbnb、ホストの星の数は見えるけれど、泊まる方の、ゲストは自分につけられた星の数が見えない。だから自分が今、どのくらいの評価なのかがまったくわからない。Airbnbのホストは5点満点で採点されるけど、自分がゲストとしては、4.7なのか、じつは3.5ぐらいなのか、まったくわからない。

今まで、利用でトラブルになったことないし、自分だけで見える表向きのレビュー内容は、良いレビューだけだし、実際悪くないゲストだった気がするのだけれど、どうなんだろう？

もしや、以前Airbnbを始めた当初か何かに、ホストからしか見えない評価欄に、苦情の情報でもあるのだろうか？と思って調べたらやっぱりあった。

ということは、まったく身に覚えがないけれど、自分もこのぐらい何かを書かれているというわけだ。

じつは、この件とはまったく関係なく、ちょうど、今、そろそろ日本にも海外のお客様も戻ってきそうだし、自分もホスト側に回ってみようと、現在色々と登録申請中だったので、いやあ、まったく身に覚えがないけれど、今回の件、本当に勉強になった。

Tried to get an Airbnb booking for Paris next week and it’s not getting approved, two NGs in a row.

Thinking back, around two years ago, around the time I went on an Airbnb trip to Hakone, I stopped getting bookings. I haven’t made a mess of my room, and I’ve kept check-in. Of course, I haven’t cancelled at the last minute. I have been in frequent contact with them. But maybe this is because there was something, somewhere, wrong with my previous use ?

In the first place, Airbnb now allows hosts to see the number of stars they have, but guests cannot see the number of stars given to them. The hosts on Airbnb are given a score out of five, but as a guest, you have no idea whether you are a 4.7 or a 3.5.

I’ve never had any trouble using it, and the only ostensible review content that I can see on my own is a good review, and I feel like I was actually not a bad guest.

If, when I first started Airbnb before or something, there was some information about complaints in the rating section that only the host could see? So I checked and it was there.

This means that I have been written something about this much, although I don’t remember it at all.

To tell you the truth, it has nothing to do with this case at all, just now, it seems that overseas customers are about to return to Japan and I was currently applying for various registrations to try to be on the host side myself, so, well, I really learned a lot from this case.
