見つけた「MoMA PERPETUAL CALENDAR」

先日、3歳の息子と表参道をブラブラ散歩していた時に、たまたま見つけたMoMAの PERPETUAL CALENDAR

これがメチャメチャ素敵でついつい即購入してしまった。

なんというか宇宙を感じさせてくれるし、手動で動かすので、いつまでだって、それこそ自分が生きているうち、その後は息子、孫と、文字通りPERPETUALに使える。

すぐに、自宅の玄関の月の絵の前に飾ってみたら、メチャメチャしっくり。

たまにこういう、なんというか自分の心の奥底が求めていたような素敵なものに出会えると、これはこれで、幸せを感じられる。

今日常に存在しているものは、特にアートやデザインなどは、誰かの想いを具現化したものだとするならば、それはそれで改めてすごいことだ。

The other day, I happened to find MoMA’s PERPETUAL CALENDAR when I was strolling around Omotesando with my 3-year-old son.

This is so wonderful that I bought it immediately.

It is so beautiful that I bought it immediately. It makes me feel like I am in space, and since it is manually operated, I can use it PERPETUALLY for as long as I live, and then for my sons and grandchildren.

Sometimes, when I come across something wonderful like this, something that I have been searching for deep inside, I feel happy.

If the things that exist in our daily lives today, especially art and design, are the embodiment of someone’s thoughts and feelings, then that is once again an amazing thing.
