43歳にして、初の「数学Ⅲ」
今日は、元数学の高校教師の友人に数学の相談。
物理、化学、数学。最終的にわかり用になりたい地点の問題集を持っていって、ここまでわかるようになりたいんだけれど、何をやれば良い？と相談。
自分の今の実力を簡易的に見てもらい、その後、一緒に本屋に行ってテキストを選んでもらった。
高校では文理選択で、文系コースを選択したら、数Ⅲや化学などまったくやってこなかったので、生まれて始めて数Ⅲの本を手にとった。
学生時代は、今後一生数学などやらないと思ったけれど、43歳にして、まさか数Ⅲのテキストを手に取ることになるとは。
現時点で、テキストの内容自体を見ると頭が痛くなるけれど、今になって自分の意思で数学を勉強しようと思うようになろうとは、何か人生は、とても感慨深い。
