オキュラスが映画館の変わりになる時代はまだまだ先？
今後、映画館にいかずとも、オキュラスのようなVRの端末をつければ、映画館のような大画面で映画館と同じような環境が味わえるといわれている。
現在だと、オキュラスでAmazonプライム・ビデオやNetflixなどを見れば擬似的にはそのような感じを味わえるけれど、今の段階では流石に映画館とは程遠い。
フェイスブックは最近「Horizon Workrooms」というメタユニバーズアプリを出したし、5000億以上この市場にかけていくといっている。間違いなくこのような自体は来るだろう。
ということで、早速本日、自分も「Horizon Workrooms」を試してみようとしたのだけれど、なんだかオキュラスだけでなくPCと連動させないといけないらしく、なかなかログインできない。ちょっと引き続き試してみようと思う。
うちは小さなメガネ屋なので、現在だとYouTubeライブなどで、ライブコマースの真似事のようなことやリアルタイムチャットなど、世界で流行っているもの試してみてはいるけれど、まだしっくりこない。
新たな技術で「これだ！！」というピタっというものないかな。
