リアル「ムーンライトマイル」へ？中国が2033年の「有人火星探査」発表
中国が至る方面ですごい。中国でも着々と中国だ。
2000年から2012年まで連載されていた漫画「ムーンライトマイル」で中国とアメリカの宇宙での主導権争いが描かれているけれど、それが現実のものに？
中国の国有企業である中国運搬ロケット技術研究院の王暁軍院長は6月24日、中国が2033年、2035年、2037年、2041年、2043年に火星に有人探査機を送り込む計画であると発表したとのこと。
中国は最終的に、火星に恒久的なプレゼンスを築き、地球との間に宇宙船を往復させながら、大規模な資源開発を行うこと想定していて、2033年の有人飛行に先立ち、基地となりうる場所の偵察や、地表のサンプル採取、資源採取に用いる機器の製作などを行うロボットミッションが実施されるという。
中国は、将来的に「宇宙での主導権を握る」と繰り返し公言していて、火星への進出に加えて、ロシアと共同で月面に基地を建設し、米国が主導する国際宇宙ステーションISSに匹敵する独自の宇宙ステーションを建設する計画を立てている。
もうまさに漫画「ムーンライトマイル」そのままだ。
