Teslaはすべての自動車の運転状況がわかるらしい。
最近、端末を無料や格安で販売し、データを取るというビジネスが主流だけれど、Teslaも、稼働しているすべてのTeslaの運転状況がわかるらしい。
そのオーナーがどのくらい走っていて、どのような運転をしていてというのがすべてわかるとのこと。日本でも、テスラより前から、建設機器のコマツがKOMTRAXという遠隔モニタリングで、どこでどのくらい稼働していて、どのように使われるか、どの車両でメンテナンスが必要かというのを、割り出しているというのが話題になっていたけれど、これからは全社このようになるのは間違いないだろう。
物よりデータ。どう考えてもこれからはそんな時代だ。
