Austinの建築会社「ICON 」の3Dプリンターで作る住宅が、すごい！
避難所を必要としている方にNew Storyが提供している3Dプリンターで作る住宅が、すごい！！
New Storyは、避難所を中心に世界的なホームレス問題を解決するためのソリューションを開拓している非営利団体。今までは、伝統的な建築物を使用して2,500軒以上の家を建設。最近は、メキシコで50世帯に、世界初の3Dプリントコミュニティを提供。

そしてこの住宅を３Dプリンターで作っているのが、Austinの建築会社「ICON 」という会社！！
そしてICONは、現在、月を最初の地球外の拠点にしようとしているNASAのアルテメス計画の一部として、NASAからの支援を通じて、BIG（Bjarke Ingels Group）とSEArch+と共に、将来の月探査を支援するための宇宙空間構築システム「ROJECT OLYMPUS」を進めている！！
今や３Dプリンターでなんでも作れる時代。
材料があって、製作者がいてという、物の制作の過程自体が根本から変わってきたようだ。
