もう店舗は必要なし？マイクロソフト全直営店の閉鎖。これからの店舗の役割は「盗めるアート展」？
マイクロソフトが、世界各地にある直営の実店舗83カ所すべてを閉鎖するというニュースを発見。店舗の意味、うちも小売店なので、このあたりのことはいつも常に考えていたことだけれど、コロナで一層考えさせられた。
最近のD2C（Direct to Consumer）などの用語とともに店舗の役割は大きく変わってきている。うちはメガネ屋を新宿と銀座でやっていて、基本ネットでもすべての商品買える。だから最近より感じてきたのだけれど、店舗は、ただ単にものを売るというより、なんというか、商品を選びにくるというより、感覚としては遊びに来ていただくような感じになってきた。
そんなことを思っていたら、こちらも「盗めるアート展」というものを見つけた。
これすごく面白い！！なるほどなあ〜と思った。
小売店も、ただ販売するだけじゃという時代、このぐらい振り切って、娯楽に持って行ってしまってもいいのかも。うちも「盗めるメガネ屋」これ、本当にやってみてもいいかもしれない。
