イーロン・マスク氏の火星100万人計画とシーモンキー
自分は、いつも現実より１cm先の非日常を目指してて、気合いバリバリでいく非日常も勿論好きだけれど、現実より１cm先にある非日常を体験してもらいたい。
それを自分は眼鏡だったり、空間だったりで表現していければと思っているわけだけれど、イーロン・マスクさんの考える日常は普通に火星だ。
そういえば最近、うちの娘がシーモンキーというキットを買ってすっごく喜んでいるのだけれど、これすごい。１億年前から変化していない生きている化石といわれているみたいで、水がなくても、長期間休眠できる卵で水にいれると蘇る。これって火星の水を使えば、これもっていって、動物性プランクトンを繁殖できるってことじゃないか？
火星の二酸化炭素と水を使えばメタンも作れるっていうし、火星移住は日常として本当に自分が生きているうちに起こるかも。
