家賃2年も据え置かない香港
3年ほど前、香港のセントラルというところにお店を作ったのだけれど、
香港は本当すごかった。
日本だと、家賃は2年据え置きが標準、
さらにオフィスや商業施設なら据え置き期間がより長くなる。
だけど、香港は違う。
家賃も下手したら2年も据え置かない。
更新の時期に３倍、４倍当たり前。
うちは結局3回ほどお店かわったのだけれど、
賃貸の店舗は、大手の店舗でも、どんどん場所が変わる。
「あれ？前あったマムートなくなっちゃった！
と思ったら、斜め前にあった」とか。
あの時の香港の状況を考えると、
日本でお店を続けられることって、
本当につくづく幸せだな〜と思う一方、
またあんな破茶滅茶な賭けもしたくもなる。
最近日本にいすぎの自分、世界に、世界に飢えている。
