マクロの宇宙からミクロの宇宙まで「Power of ten」
かなり古いけれど、チャールズ＆レイ・イームズ製作の「Power of ten」という映像がある。大宇宙から、小宇宙までを、約9分で大旅行、マクロの宇宙からミクロの宇宙までをいっきに駆け抜ける。
自分を客観視することの大切さは知っているはずだが、日常の生活によって忘れてしまいがちだ。自分の状況とは、なんとちっぽけなものか、そして宇宙、生命の神秘的を、ひしひしと感じさせてくれる映像だ。
